Dr. Mary Rachel Brinker has a similar history.  Dr. Brinker is originally from the Northern Kentucky area, near Cincinnati, Ohio.  Her undergraduate years were spent at the University of Kentucky for her Biology degree.  She then made her way to Boston to attend the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.  It was here that Dr. Brinker met Dr. Seda and a long lasting personal and professional relationship began.  Coincidentally, she too found herself enjoying the speciality of Periodontics and went on to attend Columbia University College of Dental Medicine for her study in Periodontics.  She grew up the daughter of an Oral Surgeon and was consistently exposed to dental surgery.  Her niche was found in Periodontics.  She feels that being able to perform surgical procedures as well as treat periodontal disease and place dental implants, all while developing lasting patient relationships, makes for a rewarding career.   She has been described as honest, caring, and positive.

Dr. Brinker also enjoys being a part of the Marin County Dental Society and serving on their board as Treasurer.  She feels that being a part of the Marin dental community is important and rewarding.  It is a great way to interact with colleagues and further enjoy such an exciting and rewarding career.
